Rob_B 0 Posted October 31, 2005 i cant seem to get any hot air coming out of the vents in the car. the water temp doesnt get any hotter than normal and everything else seems fine apart from the lack of hot air in the car! any obvious suggestions, i will assume this has happened to many corrado owners!!! cheers Rob
AB 0 Posted November 1, 2005 hi i had this prob and some of the guys on here told me that there are two hoses going in to the bulkhead, there is a metal valve in one coming from the engine and this can get sticky i changed mine and have been fine since. Phil K 0 Posted November 1, 2005 Hes it been like this since you got your car? If so you may find the heater matrix has gone and has been bypassed...
Rob_B 0 Posted November 1, 2005 no it started to happen yesterday!! symptons at the moment are that i can get hot air coming from the heater for a little while, then it will go cold all of a sudden!!
dinkus 10 Posted November 1, 2005 definitely sounds like the valves. Have a search for 'matrix AND valve' and you should find the info you need ;)
Rob_B 0 Posted November 1, 2005 cheers, but im told you cant buy the valves anymore, is this true? someone suggested it could be a dodgy thermostat but im not convinced, always good to get second opinions though!
