OSV 0 Posted February 12, 2006 What size stainless dish did you fit on the 301s any details on supplier and prices?
Clavicula 0 Posted February 12, 2006 Just one complete set was done of the stainless lips. The outer edge is folded for extreme strength. I asked the supplier of the Schmidt Lips to built a set of lips for me... First dialogue was: Me: "Can you do some BBS lips for me?" Engineer: "Sure, how many do you want?" Me: "About 4..." Engineer: "Fine, 4hundred...when do you want them delivered..?" After some explanation. He did me a set of 5lips for my wheels.... Size is 1 1/4 inch. The prototyps of them was designed like the genuine BBS lips. But this wouldn't support a good mirror-effect. So the thought of the straight design was just logical....and yes, it is about 100 Gramms lighter than the original design...
