beavis 0 Posted November 11, 2005 Where is the injection nozzle going to be located?
Henny 0 Posted November 11, 2005 sorry, easy target... ;) You're aiming to get between 10 and 15% water to fuel ratio (mild to wild) at WOT... Work out what flow rate your fuel injectors are at max flow, work out what that is per hour, divide that by 100 and multiply by between 10 and 15 to get what your injector size should be... 8)
Blue_Joe 0 Posted November 11, 2005 beavis about 6 inches after the CO pot. I've got Red Top Injectors so whatever the fuel flow is on them!
Henny 0 Posted November 11, 2005 Red tops are 30Lb/Hr MAX
Blue_Joe 0 Posted November 11, 2005 well (30/100)x15% = 0.345 But I got 0.5, 0.6, 0.7mm injectors with my kit so does that mean that they are all too big??
bshell 0 Posted November 11, 2005 I would think you'd need to convert #/hr to CC/min and then multiply by %. Should be (30*10.50)=315cc/min (315/100)x15=47.25cc or 4.725mm jet.
Blue_Joe 0 Posted November 11, 2005 Cool Thanks bshell So using the nearest jet size I should use the 0.5mm jet??!!
