selbekk 0 Posted November 13, 2005 Hi, just wondered where the diagnostics plug sits on the rado g60 (and probably all rados). And where could I borrow one or buy one (and what do they cost?) of those vag-com units? Oh, and I saw a couple of plugs underneath the gear trim panel. Can I use those for a +12v feed for my glowing gear knob? :) Thx for all answers
Ka` 0 Posted November 13, 2005 Hi, That's where the VAG-COM plugs in. Under the gear gaiter :D Cheers, Rica
vr6storm 0 Posted November 13, 2005 think the G60 only has limited VAG-COM diagnostics tho...
RW1 0 Posted November 13, 2005 and I saw a couple of plugs underneath the gear trim panel. Can I use those for a +12v feed for my glowing gear knob? If the wire is red, it's rated at about 5 amps. Fuse 21 supplies it. The brown is earth in the same plug which should be black plastic. DON'T connect to the white plug! Thats the data plug. VAG-COM only works with digital cars. You need to have a white and a black plugs with 4 wires in total. If 1, 2 or 3 wires only can be found then the car is analogue and uses "blink" code diagnositcs. .
