speedo stopped working

the speedo on my clocks stopped working this morn.

had the bulb on the fuel/coolant temp dial changed y'day so suppsoe its something to do with that.however it was working on way home y'day and this morn for a bout 2-3 miles then stopped working,my rev counter is working fine though.

also the illumination for the rear screen heater stopped today.

This hard to get sorted or just probably a loose part somewhere.

The cable has probably just come unstuck from the back of the clocks. Its a bit of an awkward job but doesn’t take very long.

take out clocks and go down the road watching your speedo cable rotating,if it is, its the speedo head, if it doesn't turn its the...yip you guessed it :-P

 

Make sure the cable are connected correctly in gearbox and speedo end.

if its not your speedo cable,i have a spare set of 16v clocks,you can try.
