will a 1.8 16v gearbox fit into a G60

my G60 gearbox has gone bang. The only box that i can find is a 1.8 16v, will this fit and will it last...........

I think the 2.0 16V box from a mk3 is the one to use (apart from another G60 one)

...Or you could consider buying my spare '92 'CBA' G60 'box,no worries about fitment,ratios etc...

yes mate you can use the valvers box its only very slightly different.

i have used both and cant seem to find any difference.

but as mentioned the mk111 16v box is the best if you can pick one up

and it drives just as good.......
