blue95 0 Posted December 14, 2005 Hi Folks, My C is off the road at the Mo, however when starting the other day, it would not start, battery did not have enough juice. However after jump start all was ok. Did notice that when elctricals were turned on there was a loud squeaking noise coming from arround the alternator. Am I right in thinkning that the alt bearings have had it? Ps The belt does need changing. Sprayed it with WD40 but this made no Diff? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

blue95 0 Posted December 14, 2005 My C is 95 N reg with 2L 16V engine. Does this make the engine a 9A? I am planning to get a new cambelt plus rollers and all other belts changed within the next few weeks. Are the rollers the tensioners? os is this something additional I need to get done?
