-Neil- 0 Posted December 25, 2005 my back box heat shield has rusted where its held on at the back two points, so its kind of hanging on at the moment. Jim 2 Posted December 25, 2005 IIRC the heat shields on the exhaust system are sort of held on with weird little circular clips which just push on? I can't imagine its a particular pig of a job to do provided you get the right clips for the job and have good access to the underside of the car? Guest Posted December 25, 2005 Should be quiet a simple Sunday morning job mate. You will probably have to take the silencer off to get to the heat shield. Its held on by clips that are moulded into the shield. Flat blade screw driver joby!
