Waz 0 Posted December 28, 2005 Hi i recently asked for your opinion about a set of borbet A sports size 7.5 x 16 et35 i currantly have 7.5 x 17 et35 and they seem to fit without any real problems they just rub the chassie legs a little on full lock. the borbets i am after are also available with an offset 20. theseller recomended the et20 wheels as the et35s wouldnt fit his corrado g60 because the breaks are to big and sayes they would be the same for my 16v corrado.i thought that the et20s would have sat out to far for the arches! would the et35s not be better and perhaps use some spacers.PLEASE HELP I REALLY NEED NEW WHEELS I MISS DRIVING MY CORRADO.ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! THANKS :?
PhatVR6 0 Posted December 28, 2005 go for the ET20's I had ET15 9x16's on my mk2 and they cleared the 280mm brakes fine and stayed with in the arches so you'll be laughing with 7.5"s.
gradeAfailure 0 Posted December 28, 2005 Yup, Laura runs 9x16 ET15 Borbet Ts with about a 50mm drop and no rubbing, so ET20 on a 7.5 would seem to be the way to go...
fla 9 Posted January 24, 2007 I'm seeing some 16" ET50 7J 5x100 rims tomorrow with 205/45/16 tyres on them. Presumably I need to get 7-8mm spacers plus longer wheel bolts for them? Any other advice welcomed. I've got a VR btw.
