TimVR 0 Posted August 22, 2003 Hi all, hope this doesn't look like a silly question.... pulled out of a junction today with a litle less room than I would like (oops!) and floored my VR (oil up to temp (+90C)). Must have hit at least 5.5 - 6K revs in first (not usual but felt bl***y good!!). Thing is I saw quite a bit of greyish smoke out the back end at top revs...should I be worried or is this normal? Car in question is a 95 M with 69k Many thanks in advance, Tim
macca 0 Posted August 22, 2003 Seems ok to me. If you floor it, somthing got to come out the back !!! Watch the traffic next time your in convoy, gear change before over taking = puff of smoke . Guy.
