saysomestuff 0 Posted January 4, 2006 Lets say I wanted to fit MKIV brakes. Could I use a G60 gearbox and driveshafts with MKIV (5 stud) hubs on the front? Any issues on the back? Cheers, Cole
saysomestuff 0 Posted January 4, 2006 The only reason I ask is because it's alot of farting about getting hold f the bits and then trying them, finding they don't fit and trying to get rid of them! Has anyone tried getting MKIV hubs married up to ANY C gearbox?
PhatVR6 0 Posted January 4, 2006 mk4 hubs are nothing like corrado ones. but if you have vr6 huns, then 288 or 312mm mk4 brakes will fit.
saysomestuff 0 Posted January 5, 2006 thanks Phat, I was hoping someone like you would answer. You will also know by what method the (MKIV) ESP/ABS speed sensors are attached to the hubs. Easy enough to fab onto G60/VR carriers? I think you can guess where I'm going here...
PhatVR6 0 Posted January 5, 2006 they are just ABS sensors. Use the corrado ones.
saysomestuff 0 Posted January 5, 2006 I was hoping as much, so i could just hook the standard C ABS sensors up to MKIV ABS if I wanted (or fit the MKIV ones into the C hub)
24V Renshaw 0 Posted January 5, 2006 You can fit MK4 sensors into the Corrado hubs. I have. Jay
