If you really want a short box though the 3.9 is what you should go for I reckon. Try messing around on an online gear ratio calculator. You should be able to get a box for about £150. Tyre circumference and rev limit have to be specified too, so I've used 17" Eagle F1s (1872mm) and 6500rpm. I've simplified it down a bit to show rpm at 70mph in 5th, mph/1000rpm in top and top speed in each gear.
