How much to replace headgasket,chains & tensioners on vr

As above really my mate want's some work doing on his vr and i'm workering how much to charge him?He's going to supply all the part's and do some of the donkey work.

What is the usual cost if you go to stealth?

Got a quote of stealth for all tensioners, chains and clutch replacement along with full head refurb and rebuild all parts fluids etc 1450 including vat.

I think Stealth charge £650 +vat for a drive in/out clutch and chains job...

That price seems quite reasonable,considering the quality of work being done there.

Yeah, I think it roughly equates as 10 hours labour and £250's worth of parts...

Yeah doesnt sound a bad price.It cost me about £300 in part's alone when i did mine and that was at trade prices
