-Neil- 0 Posted January 11, 2006 Just had the RAC out for the second time this month as when i've tried to start my car, it doesnt idle at all! he came out, cleaned the trottle butterfly up with carb cleaner, showed me the dirt and it was thick black, like...well carbon! What can i do to prevent this. And what is a good price for a brand new ISV for a 2ltr 16v 1993? Neil
Supercharged 2 Posted January 11, 2006 The TB had most likely never been cleaned, I wouldn't worry about it... I've looked at 2 mk3 Golfs recently and altho they were running ok, the TB needed a good clean, both were around 80k's... ISV - I think they are usually about £
