BarneyVR6 0 Posted August 28, 2003 Went out to get the engine number of my VR this morning, pulled on the bonnet release lever and just heard a thunk as the cable snapped or came out of something, not sure what. G60 0 Posted August 28, 2003 i got mine open when the cable was disconnected by pushing on the release on the driver side (you are backwards there) towards the outside of the car with a long flathead... of course... i already had my grill off, it was in the paint shop.. so it wasn't that big a deal. good luck Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
