stuartnigabbain 0 Posted February 22, 2006 The engine is cutting out intermittantly when at low revs, for example when approaching a roundabout or junction. When using clutch the revs drop and engine cuts out. The car will always start directly afterwards. I have tried: Cold start idleising valve New High Temp Leads Throttle Body cleaned. Hoses replaced Placed on computer at garage (no probs) Any ideas gratefully received????? Thanks
bcstudent 0 Posted February 22, 2006 Cold start idleising valve Do you mean the Idle Stabilisation Valve?! Start by checking that the throttle is adjusted so it's closing the closed-throttle switch on the throttle body. That's the signal to open the ISV.
