insomniak 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Have all my parts now, just waiting on my shocks to be delivered (end of the week). nice set of silverline x coilovers :) couple of questions if I may?? GSF sell a braided brake line kit but the girl wasnt 100% convincing that this was for the corrado - tho it was for a VR6. Will this be alright for mine?? mine is a 92 VR6.. Also, can any one think of any other parts I may need prior to me fitting this lot.. (top mounts, spacers etc...)
Taggart 0 Posted April 4, 2006 I need this list too fella, got a set of H+R coilies winging it's way to the IOM :-)
steve_16v 0 Posted April 4, 2006 You should have the top mounts (VAG are the best quality) and rear bump stops changed as well when doing the suspension
joebloggsVR69 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Rear bumpstops should be already included in the coilovers (I've got Silverline-X's too) But yeah, you'll defo need new VAG front top mounts
steve_16v 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Rear bumpstops should be already included in the coilovers (I've got Silverline-X's too) So you're saying that you can get rid of the rear bumpstops if you put coilovers on? Never heard that before.
Supercharged 2 Posted April 4, 2006 The goodridge kit says 'Corrado VR6' on it - the late Golf VR6 ones will not fit as they are for the 288 front brakes and therefore have the banjo connections.

steve_16v 0 Posted April 4, 2006 No.. they are already on the pre-assembled coilover Aaah, mine never came with them (at least I don't think they did  ), I take it the silverline x's are different to the highsports in that respect?

steve_16v 0 Posted April 5, 2006 VAG topmounts - dealer or GSF? dealer, they're better quality than the GSF parts
