Which tyres - Goodear F1's or Conti Sport Contact 2's?

Hi

 

Needing some new tyres soon. Which out of the above tyres should I get... which have the best grip?

 

I'm assuming the ones with the better grip may not last as long... but is there a huge difference between the two types of tyre?

Not sure about the Conti's but I had Eagle F1's on my Mk2 Golf and they stuck like sh*t to a blanket! They were only 185's aswell but what contact there was to the tarmac was very impressive!
