LowG 0 Posted October 5, 2003 might be your valve hydraulic lifters mate. To test if u have lifters you have to switch the car on,have someone rev it to 2500 and take off plug 1 and see if any change in noise than put it back on then do the same with plug number 2,3 and 4. if the noise goes away when you move any of the plugs than its your head lifters or valves. If no change in noise is heard check your cat shieldor worst could be your bottom end,crank shells or something. Better take it to a good mech before u brake something big like i did!
