My advice is stick to Recaro if your changing the factory seats.

Will MK 2 GTI seats fit?

I have a mint interior from a 91 model and if they fit, i might get them leathered.

A20LEE do Recaro do subframes for the c last time i spoke to them they were willing to make some for production but needed a car to do them on. This was before i saw your seats and yes those are the 1's i also want or possibly the Pole Positions.

porsche seats look amazing ,really suit corrados ,but not straight fit though

Bit IIRC Jay Renshaw can get porsche subframes made up for about £200...? (maybe?!)

Tried my Golf seats yesterday,

looked good but they coulndt be adjusted due to the knob being so tight up against the centre console.

you need to look for seats that are both low fitting and narrow at the pivot point or that adjust on both sides!
