Ben mk2 gti 0 Posted April 1, 2006 Hi everyone, i just went and looked at a corrado g60 91 reg, one lady owner from new with full history, it looks immaculate but the problem is its done 250,000 miles, think i could get it for bout £750. What do you guys recon about it? I dunno if its just gonna be a moneypit, or a good buy. Any views, information and general help would be great. Thanks. Riley 0 Posted April 1, 2006 hi m8, above everything else id say the best way to gauge the condition etc of the car would be to physically give it a real good checking over and drive it.listening/feeling for any noises/bangs... service history is good to have, but ive seen cars with thousands spent on them (with all the receipts) and they have been sh1tters...and ive seen cars with little history and they have been in near concors condition. Ben mk2 gti 0 Posted April 1, 2006 ok well think ill have to do a bit more research, and take it for a drive and inspect all the service history closely. Just out of interest how much does it cost to get the supercharger re-built, because i think thats the only thing that will need doing quite soon. Cheers. Jim 2 Posted April 1, 2006 Just pick through the reciepts and see what sort of stuff has been done. If its had regular repairs over those years then great.. if its got a tonne of stuff long overdue for repair then steer clear as you wont save anything by buying it cheap and then having to do it up! morpheus20170 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Speak to Darren at G-Werks, he might know the car and can best advise you on getting a G60
