audi 3.2 inlet manifold

Recommended Posts

is the audi 3.2 engine the same as the r32 lump?

and would the inlet manifold off the audi 3.2/r32 fit on a 2.8 lump?

just curious.

cheers

and are the sudi/dub lumps essentially the same?

yes, althoguh it does have a different engine code

the audi has a better exhaust (tubular stainless headers instead of cast)

slightly bigger throttle body (I think)

and the cam cover is different.

inlet manifold is the same but the audi one has the bushes for the TB rotated 45 degress so the throttle body sits on an angle, so it clears the bonnet. something I had to do on my own conversion (instead of cutting a hole i the bonnet stiffening ribs like the 2 mk2 R32 conversions I've seen....)

yeah!

still looking for some audi headers so I can ditch this cast crap.

just fitted milltek cats to the mk4 (4 motion), the power gain is noticable!! these 24v's love free flowing exhausts.
