Where best to get a blue temp sensor

And throttle position switch.

 

I tried asking my local dealer and some TW@T of a grumpy old git quoted me £100+ for the throttle position switch????????? and £26 not inc vat for the temp sensor.

Am I asking for the right things?? and could I use any micro switch from maplins for example??

the blue temps sensor is about a fiver i thoought. tis a similar one to all catalyst vw car switches im told.
