What Colour is this?

if you can get into the boot there will be a colour code sticker...if its not there then its probably been rear-ended :shock: or you could try in the inside of the o/s/f wing between the airbox and wing there is a wee red/orange sticker with the colour code and german name for the colour....then if you have a look on the vwccgb website undr tech tips(i think) you'll be able to match thecode to the colour

or it could have been re-sprayed a differant colour from a vw one...though i think i have seen this colour once before on an early corrado

here's the blue colour codes applicable to the corrado that your wanting to know the colour of

 

 

Inca Blue Metallic LK5T 91

Blue Pearl Effect LC5Z 90

Aqua Blue Pearl Effect LC5U 91 - 95

Moonlight Blue Pearl Effect LC5M 92 - 95

 

 

personnally i think its more than likely its going to be the inca blue one......

Suspect that is Inca Blue Metallic ........ I viewed a 1991 16V in that colour just before bought my old 16V

It looks like helios blue that they painted the mk2's in.

take a lokk at daves car below I think it looks similar could be wrong though

I'm sure his is helios blue!!!

In my opinion it is a very nice colour really suits the cars lines!!

Difficult to tell really from a photo, but it definitely doesn't look helios blue - looks more like the colour of Scott Lester's old Mk2, which was a factory colour I cannot remember the name of :)

i definitely don't think it helios blue either....as helios blue is also a mk1 gti colour.....and they never made mk1's in the colour of that golf in those pics

Like I said I could be wrong but daves car is definately a factory colour and I'm sure he said to me it was helios blue but then again it might not be???
