Trig 0 Posted April 25, 2006 Anyone know the cheapest place to get Dynamat hoodliner online? I need to replace my sponge as it's falling to pieces, might as well do it with something that isn't going to fall apart in the future!
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 25, 2006 Audioscape do it for about £40 I think.....

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 25, 2006 Mike, Dynamat hoodliner :-) It has a tough silver coating which deflects heat and oil etc. The problem with the OE sponge is when it starts soaking up hot engine oil and stuff, it crumbles to bits. That'll never happen with hoodliner.

VR6 0 Posted April 26, 2006 First I think I'll need to invest in one of these 'hood' thingies? Is that what the scallies wear? But then they buy an extra liner for winter to keep their precious little heads warm?!
blue95 0 Posted April 27, 2006 Glue is a night mare to take off. IF you have not done it, I suggest using a plastic scraper and evo stick glue remover. Apply the remover with a paint brush and not a cloth as well.
