Valver Stray wire ?? Any ideas

Recommended Posts

Found a wire not attached to anything, which appears to be 12v constant.

As you look at the engine bay, on the left hand side, 2 large sections of loom come down over the strut tower and down into the engine bay.

Just behind the air box 3 wires leave the loom >>>

2 go to the diaphragm pressure valve (which does what?)

where does the 3 one go or ment to be 4?

Cheers

If it's black wire with a female spade connector on the end, then it may be the wire that goes onto the temperature sensor mounted to the cam cover for controlling the fan overrun.

It is a brown wire in a black sleeve > so its black.

has the female spade connector on it, but also had the male end from where ever it had broken off.

temperature sensor mounted to the cam cover for controlling the fan overrun.

where abouts on the cover is this mount roo?

I think roo is right then, the sensor should be located on the front left had side of the rocker cover. its bolted down using the same bolt that secures the cover.
