cubed 0 Posted May 14, 2006 just wondering if anyone knows how to modify the rear stubs to get the tops of the wheels in?(negative i beleive?) my n/s rear wheel leans out! ive fitted new axle bushes and the bearings are fine. we wonder whether some impact on the wheel has bent the stub?not sure but it could explain the damaged spare. anyway,if anyone has experienced this or nows a cure i'd appreciate it! thanks!! heres a pic to help. flusted 0 Posted May 14, 2006 i have same prob but mine bend in,would the stub bend before the axle bends? You can have a shim machined to vput behind the stub to correct the camber
cubed 0 Posted May 14, 2006 thats what i,m wondering? i'd imagine the stub would bent before the axle? it had no obvious distortion when i changed the axle bushes. i know people have modded rear stubs, just dont know the best way? i would magine a new stub is required before anything else??
