Ice White Socks 0 Posted May 28, 2006 Hello, Just in the middle of my 288mm brake conversion- am a bit baffled by how to remove the old front brake hoses- I can see the join between the fixed pipe and the flexible hose- but they all seem locked into a bracket thats welded to the inner wheel arch- plus I'm not sure where the fixed pipe ends & the flexible hose part begins :-( Can anyone offer any help please- what do I unscrew from what? do I need to remove any clips or anything first? I really don't want to cock it up and give myself a much bigger job :? Cheers :) :) :)

heliosjim 0 Posted May 28, 2006 Did mine today, 11mm union on the fixed pipe and 14mm on the flexi. Had to cut some of mine off as the unions were rounded of and siezed solid, not a problem as ALL my brake pipes failed the MOT so im replacing them all anyway. Im keeping all the old pipes as they are to use as templates just incase Automec dont do a kit for rhe Corrado. Im ringing them in the morning, fingers crossed!
