_leon_ 0 Posted June 14, 2006 also remember compression ratios - higher for charger, same as standard or up to 8.5:1 for turbos. i would really recommend you to ask as many questions as you can and discuss options with the tuners to start getting ideas of where you want your project to go - trust me it takes time! Blue_Joe 0 Posted June 14, 2006 iirc vag state the maximum bore diameter is 82.5mm. However 83mm has been proven to be ok. A lot of people seem to insist that you get your block ultrasonically checked before going out to 83mm.
