engine mounting :- fitting

Hi

 

i am going to change the front engine mount on my car tommorow/sunday

 

i wondered if anyone has done a 'how to' or can do me a guide on how its done.

Theres nothing in the haynes manual and ive searched on here but cant find anything!

 

 

 

any help aprreciated

Disconnect the battery and jack up the car and carefully support the car on axle stands bearing in mind you are going to be shifting the engine around. Undo the top 15-mm headed nut and undo the 17-mm and 13-mm headed lower bolts. Lift up the front of the engine with a trolley jack and slide out the mount. As the Haynes comic says, "reassembly is the reverse of dismantling". Be careful though, an engine on the head hurts.

Hi

 

i managed to change my engine mount yipee! too some people this isnt a big deal but this was my first one!

 

fairly easy if you take your time too!

 

car feels a bit smoother but im quite certain the rear mounts need changing now!

 

got a new fan too whitch has too satges unlike my old one!
