Bohall 0 Posted July 19, 2006 Noticed a small puddle under the car last night to my horror, had a look and noticed the 2 seals where the resevoir sits into the brake master cylinder are leaking. Just wondering is there a seal kit available or do i have to replace the master cylinder? It's not leaking badly but it's still enough to make me concerned. Cheers. Supercharged 2 Posted July 19, 2006 I think you can ghet the seals between the res and MC - I'll look on ETKA later...
Bohall 0 Posted July 19, 2006 Thanks mate, much appreciated. I presume it's a bad idea to drive it with a bit of leak?
Crasher 3 Posted July 19, 2006 357 611 817 at £2.36 each inc. VAT. Be careful not to let lose flakes of rust into the mater cylinder when swapping them, it is the rust that causes the problem.
Bohall 0 Posted July 19, 2006 No bother, thanks for that. It hasn't lost any fluid since i topped it up last night so it should be ok to drive gingerly. Since the clutch uses the same resevoir i was getting a bit worried after RMN pointed it out to me!
