NickVR6 0 Posted July 26, 2006 Does look a little rough roudn the edges, but if it works its a third the cost of the daddy schimelski? Swings and roundabouts....
CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted July 27, 2006 The SP is pricey but worth it in the long run.I doubt you will gain much with using that,it looks rather small and restrictive, but its the shame of it.. I would have to cover it up

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 27, 2006 Does look a little rough roudn the edges, but if it works its a third the cost of the daddy schimelski? Swings and roundabouts.... Come on Nick, you're no stranger to getting the wallet out..... get yourself on the Schimmel GB! There seem to be a few SRIs hitting the market now, which is good as it keeps the prices reasonable.....but what set's Schimmel's apart is the sheer quality. It's a cast item, not a cut and shut of an OE manifold like that one. The internals of the runners are radiused and very, very smooth. The offside half of the manifold is also tapered to clear the alternator, which also equalises gas speeds across all 6 chambers. Plus Schimmel's has a bigger plenum too. You get what you pay for folks and £484 for a cast product of better quality than the OE one is very reasonable. It's much better made than the Schrick aswell....and that's nearly 3 times the price!
