mo_527 0 Posted July 27, 2006 How much would it cost to increase the bhp on a 2.0 16v? And where would be the best place to get it done. I am based in birmingham. Cheers, Mo.
Supercharged 2 Posted July 27, 2006 Aquire yourself a cam (just the inlet I think) from a KR engine (1.8) and get it to Stealth Racing to be fitted and tuned on the rollers...

Jim 2 Posted July 27, 2006 Yep.. KR cam is definately one of the best power mods for a 2.0 16v. Having owned one with this mod (my current car!) and one without, I can tell you that despite the power increase being 'only' approx 15-20BHP over standard, it really feels a heck of a lot quicker :)
CazzaVR 0 Posted July 27, 2006 Well worth doing this. The exhaust cam will give an even bigger increase, but it needs to be machined so it's not a straight swap. Think it makes the idle a little rough too. KR inlet + RR tune @ Stealth is the way to go! Porting and polishing the head gives good results on valvers and it might be worth dropping in a panel filter and going for a more free-flowing exhaust too.
