Duecenickletreyg60 0 Posted August 8, 2006 lately when ive been driving there has been a rubbing noise coming from the rear by the back passengers seat. and every once and again when i stop there is a clunk noise, i believe its drivetrain related, the rubbing isnt my tires as the car has the oem stance and the wheels, any ideas would help!!! StuartFZR400 0 Posted August 8, 2006 You say the noise is from the rear yet think its the drive shaft (front); why? - Is the noise constant; always there, or is it on occasion? - Does the rubbing noise become louder or faster when you speed up? Have you given all 4 wheels a good rock/pull to look for play; could be a hub or suspension related problem.
