Just take the motor mech out (that's a funny little job in itself, you'll swear a few times!) and plug the water hose. If you're worried about accidentally triggering the rear wash/wipe, disconnect the hose at the washer bottle end and plug it there too ;-) The tailgate lifts a lot easier without the wiper mech in it!
