2corrados 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Hi. Anyone know where I can pick up a Temic coil pack. Mine has finally given up despite epoxy repairs. Don't want to waste money on Beru rubbish if I can avoid it. Thx in anticipation
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 20, 2006 Get the Beru from GSF. The factory fitted TEMIC one actually also has Beru stamped on it if you look close enough ;-) But if only TEMIC will do - dealer only.
craigowl 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Why do you consider Beru as rubbish, 2corrados, please?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 20, 2006 A couple of years back there was a spate of dodgy packs from GSF, and they were Beru ones. I think that's all cleared up now. Nowt wrong with Beru though, they make the best leads I've seen for the VR6 by miles.
craigowl 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Thanks, kev. My new coil pack is a Beru!
Guest Posted September 20, 2006 I bought a Beru pack from GSF a while back which lasted 5 days till 1&6 broke down. Car sounded like a scooby!! Luckily, they gave me a full refund. I ended up buying one from the Stealers which, as Kev said, had Beru stamped on it anyway!!! No problems so far!!
2corrados 0 Posted September 20, 2006 if it was intermittent problem with beru packs then maybe I'll get one of them. Had heard some dodgy revirews on them so wanted to avoid. Many thanks for assistance. Need to sort the rest of the engine now. She's still not well :(
cmoth 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Mine is a Beru, so far so good. I paid £130 inc vat. No longer sounds like a scooby.
