dubburke 0 Posted October 4, 2006 Hi, I bought a G60 from a guy (Alex) on the forum, i love the car, but i bought the car with an overfuelling fault (200 MILES TO A TANK!), which Alex said was a broken wire on the Lamba sensor multiplug which connects to the ecu. The wire has been fixed, but as soon as i connected the plug back up, the fuel pump fuse blows, the car runs ok with the plug disconected.(apart from needing a fuel tanker following me! ). Anyone any ideas???
kongo127 0 Posted October 4, 2006 Are you using the correct lambda probe? If the fuse keeps blowing it only means that the 12v wire is having some sort of contact to ground.
dubburke 0 Posted October 4, 2006 To be honest i havent a clue if it is the correct lamba, as i have just bought the car, all i know is that it has had a new exhaust (s/steel system) would that have anything to do with possible problems? Could you explain your answer more please
Supercharged 2 Posted October 4, 2006 Who is Alex? Yeah there must be some sort of short in the lambda wiring...

dubburke 0 Posted October 4, 2006 I think i have found the problem http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight= I take it a new Lambda sensor will do the trick? as it sounds like the problem only started after the exhaust was fitted.
