tattyrado 0 Posted October 15, 2006 I've been changing the rear pads on my G60, passenger side went smoothly but on the drivers side I've been winding the piston for an eternity but its just not going back in. Any ideas??
Crasher 3 Posted October 15, 2006 What tool are you using?
tattyrado 0 Posted October 15, 2006 I havn't got the proper tool so I'm just using some grips. Its turning fine, just not going back in at all.
Trig 0 Posted October 15, 2006 Yeh they are a bugger without a tool.
KADVR6 0 Posted October 15, 2006 had this problem on my mk2, just get a strong piece of wood, place it in the middle of the piston, get some one to press down on the wood while you are winding it back in with the grips, it will go in alot easier. Supercharged 2 Posted October 15, 2006 For the sake of £10-£20 I really would just buy the correct tool, it will take minutes too!

Phil K 0 Posted October 15, 2006 Even with the right tool mine were a PITA to wind in - they did go eventually though 8)
