AB 0 Posted October 21, 2006 hi been doing a bit of serching, i have just removed my 1.8 16v on twin 40's. i want to make it a 2.0ltr on twin 40's. just need some advice. whats best, to fit my 1.8 head to a 9a bottom end or to get a whole 9a and swap the inlet cam or to get an abf(i think thats the other one) and leave it. bit of help to sort me out please. :? If you get a whole 6A/9A don't bother taking the head of if it's in good nick, will just cost you a headgasket and bolts, whack in the KR inlet cam though the 9A is too flat. Best option is a good 2L bottom end (any 16v engine code) plus a flowed head, all the 16v heads have the same potential flowed. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
