blackboy VR6 0 Posted October 26, 2006 started losing water on my vr6 no white gunge on dipstick very little on the oil filler cap (small amount can be expected as i only do 3m to work everyday) filler cap clears off white stuff if i take it for a decent run, cannt see an obvious signs of water leaks, no loss of power (that ive noticed) is there any usual spots i should be looking help please Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

dr_mat 0 Posted October 26, 2006 "Usual spots": - heater matrix hose at the back of the cylinder head under the cable tidy (this is #1!) - aux electric water pump - expansion tank cap - heater matrix (as stated above) ... - thermostat housing - water pump .. plus the big, obvious ones like the rad ..
