dr_mat 0 Posted October 27, 2006 Yeah, if you see smoke the most important question is what colour was it!
Garry 0 Posted October 28, 2006 Black Smoke = Over fueling White/Grey smoke = Burning oil = £££
nocrap 0 Posted October 28, 2006 or white = evaporating water....
dr_mat 0 Posted October 28, 2006 Oil smoke pretty much always has a tinge of blue to it.

Critical_Mass 10 Posted October 29, 2006 Well if its white, i doubt its burning oil

G60Jet 1 Posted October 29, 2006 white at revs is not good, check you water level, could be the headcasket
Dave_P 0 Posted October 29, 2006 Samw happened to me last year, flooring it over taking and a cloud of white smoke blow out the back.... head gasket mate !
nocrap 0 Posted October 29, 2006 Yeah, i agree. Certainly looks like a HG fail, but still worth checking your fluids. indications show that coolant level should be low.
Critical_Mass 10 Posted October 29, 2006 Is it white white or a tint of blue to it?
Garry 0 Posted October 29, 2006 What type of Corrado do you own buddy? When my G60 spat the seal in the charger, it would churn out white/grey smoke under load. The best way to check is to remove the outlet hose from the blower and look for excess oil in the pipe/blower. This is what mine looked like!
stevef182 0 Posted November 2, 2006 thanks..ill have a look, if not it sounds like its the head gasket..in the garage at the moment..will let u know what the diagnosis is...fingers crossed..(dont know what for.. but...)
