Andy665 0 Posted November 1, 2006 Have the chance to buy a 2 owner, FSH VR6 - metallic blue, cloth interior, 139k, 11 months MOT, a bit of tax. Car is described as very good condition - lets revise that down to average for safetys sake. I can buy it for £1700 - thinking about getting it, tidying it up (mainly elbow grease), running it for a while and selling it on in the Spring - does a £1700 purchase price give me the opportunity to at least get my money back come the good weather
Jim 2 Posted November 1, 2006 Why do these cars never appear when I have the money around to buy them? But yeah - i'd say you'd safely get possibly up to £2500-£3000 if you put some elbow grease into shining it up - probably not worth advertising it on here though if its purely a profit making exercise! ;)
Phil K 0 Posted November 1, 2006 Sounds like a good price and there is deffo room to spend some cash getting the standard up before moving it on and making your money plus a bit extra back... I wish a bargain like this would come up for me 8)

My blue one (with 81k) is about to appear on the market in the very same ballpark price-wise - lots nearer to you as well! :)
