mrbeige 0 Posted November 4, 2006 My bloody car exhaust is really pissing me off!   I think I get it right, then it moves slightly and starts catching on the fuel tank heatshield. Then I adjust it, and then it moves and catches on the fuel pump heatshield, so I adjust it again, and its all good, but its blowing from the join after the CAT, adjust again using some exhuast sealant now the bloody thing is blowing from joint between the CAT and downpipe. Its never been right since it was itted by Demon Tweeks over two years ago. I fookin hate it, its doing my head in!   Does anyone else have such issues with getting the exhaust to fit properly? Its a Magnex stainless (which I did have fitted with a Supersprint De-CAT pipe but I've taken that off, cos that made the fit worse).
CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted November 4, 2006 I used large Zip ties around the exhaust hanger rubbers to stop the excessive movement and tack a blob of weld on each joint to stop movement, haven't had any problems since.
