dan 0 Posted October 9, 2003 Hi all, just a thought :?: I seem to remember reading on the net, about a sequential gear box being available for the Corrado. When looking down their specification list they showed their replacement box for the C, which is type 02A I think. And unless i'm mistaken the TT shared the same cable system. I appreciate that the TT box is a much improved version of Corrado cable shift but, is there any chance they could be swaped? What I'd like to do is get a TT cable system from the scrap yard & fit it into my C Any ideas ?

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 9, 2003 dan, Althought i've not heard of such a box to fit the corrado i have seen this seqshift kit there are a few videos of it in action too Seqshift (or SQS for MK2, Corrado, MK3) looks cool but why do this and other short shift kits insist on a 6 foot gearstick that looks completely out of place in the interior? I wasn't aware any TTs had sequential shifting other than the dual-clutch DSG box? The DSG would be very hard to retrofit as you'd need the paddle system, brain, wiring looms and engine management changes to control engine speed during changes.
