Guest Posted October 9, 2003 the zeros are for "zeroing" the amounts stored. the 1 is the "single journey memory" the 2 is the "whole journey memory"
G60Jet 1 Posted October 9, 2003 Basically position one holds its memory for two hours so what ever journey you make are held in the memory for two hours, then cleared so basically if you drive your car to work, then an hour later drive it to a shop, the memory should still be there, if you then leave it two hours the memory will clear itself. position 2 hold the memory untill its reset. to reset either positions memory you need to put it onto anything other than the clock and slide the switch to position zero, there is a seperate reset for positon 1 and 2. rob 0 Posted October 9, 2003 so its all an average millage counter ? 1 for the journey your making now and 2 for all the journeys untill you reset it ? mine usually sits at about 23 mpg most of the time :?

Majik 0 Posted October 9, 2003 just another question why does my g60 have a blue piece with a vac tube going to it and the 2.0 16 doesnt?
Supercharged 2 Posted October 9, 2003 just another question why does my g60 have a blue piece with a vac tube going to it and the 2.0 16 doesnt? That may be for Boost pressure as the MFA also has a diagnostic / servive mode that gives alot of extra info, available on all cars I think but mure info is available on the older ones.
