DaveVR6 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Just had a cat back Milltek system fitted to my VR. Was a bit worried that it might be too noisy, but as their website suggested it isn't... In fact it sounds spot on, burbles like an obese baby! :) Was wondering if it is worth following ECU reset procedure now the exhaust is on??
dr_mat 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Doubt it, the exhaust on it's own isn't going to make as much difference as slightly different quality fuel, so the ECU will adapt.
DaveVR6 0 Posted November 13, 2006 Ive also have added a BMC air filter + nowadays only use tesco 99 ron fuel... Would this make it anymore worth while? or am i still just best letting the ECU do its thing and adapt?
martyjmcfly 0 Posted November 14, 2006 How do you reset the ECU? What are the magic button presses???? I've had a miltek sports cat and stainless steel manifold fitted so would the car benefit? Cheers
