timmaaah 0 Posted December 1, 2006 Hi all - got at the mo a K&N cone filter on me vr6, but seriously thinking about a CDA BMC. I do love the noise from the K&N, but it can get on ya tits after a bit. Has anyone running a CDA BMC got a recording from the driving seat to give me an idea of what they sound like? craziscot 0 Posted December 2, 2006 Not got a recording, but on day to day round town driving its not too loud at all, give it some in low gear it roars enough to turn heads!!! On the motorway when cruising its hardly noticable over general motorway noise, again though give it some gas and it becomes a subtle growl. In general I don't find it any louder, and sometimes possibly a little quieter, than the standard VW air box & Filter that mine replaced. Hope that helps a little.
