Mancorr 0 Posted December 23, 2006 Just changed my plugs....real hard to get out! Anyway they are out and new ones are in. I bought the new ones from Halfords, Bosch things. I had a dizzy cap and rotor arm from my 91 MK2 Golf GTI 16v that was new that never used. I thought i would put them on. The rotor arm on my Corrado was almost seised and broke when taking off. I now have put the arm from my GTI Golf on and dizzy cap but my car just judders and is not starting....its trying to start but with no succsess. It did start but sounded like it was missing badly then cut out. Have i got ther HT leads round the wrong way...is the rotor arm different?? I have put the old dizzy cap back on as my Golf one did not seem to give a good fit, cant do this with old rotor arm as it broke when i took it off  . My car is a 1990 1.8 16v. Any help would be great as im outside in the freezing cold with a torch.....help :(
