Heater not putting out any hot air??

Hi all,

 

This morning my 94 VR6 was not putting out any heat into he car,

At lunch i decided to check the system for an air block, which there was,

once that was cleared all was working fine.

On the way home from work once again i could not get any heat out, so i let it boil over without the cap on and it was working ok.

Then 20mins later i had to pop out, but i some how gained another air block.

 

Any ideas of what could be causing this?

Though you will need to find the source of your air lock.

The overflow tank cap is prone to dying (leaks air in) and the cheapest to replace first if it's looking a little old..

once again i could not get any heat out, so i let it boil over without the cap on

 

Hi

 

The cap should be off so that the air gets out.

 

Also, after the boil over, let it cool and then top up to the max mark.
