dnac 0 Posted January 9, 2007 Hi, I have my Corrado in bits at the minute doing the head gasket. Its a 2 ltr 16v, Firsly what manifold is fiited as standard to the 2.ltr, is it 50 or 42mm? Secondly I thought about getting a KR inlet cam to uprate it a bit, but them wondered if one had already been fitted. So Can anyone tell me how to identify the difference between the standard 2ltr cams and the KR ones?
nocrap 0 Posted January 9, 2007 The KR cam is more rounded to the top, the later engines had 50mm inlets......you can tell the difference as the 42mm ones have ridges on and a stamp on the 1st inlet. check this out for reference http://www.the-corrado.net/wiki/index.php/16v_Tuning_Guide
flusted 0 Posted January 9, 2007 The later 2l 16v corrados did not ever come with 50mm manifolds. yours will have a 42mm short runner, large plenum manifold if standard
